After posting about the delightful Enchanted Garden Ball, I discovered exactly who that band playing in the German Tent were - Oompah Brass. Hence it seemed only natural to follow on from my previous post by composing a little dedication to those who provided such great entertainment throughout Saturday evening.
The band's quirky music mixed up popular songs with a folky (Bavarian) sound which we all loved! My friend Olivia particularly enjoyed their rendition of "American Pie" and another fan, Maddy, got so carried away bopping along to their tunes that she fell backwards off of a bench! I think she would kill me if I posted the video so you will have to take my word for it that it was absolutely hilarious!
As for me, I also thoroughly enjoyed their set. In fact, one of the highlights of my night was being chased by one of the musicians, which was well documented in a whole series of unflattering but highly amusing photographs. The picture below is great as it exactly summarises the fun-loving and interactive experience that the audience were treated to!
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Oompah Brass and hope to see them perform live again soon!
